시놉시스
보자기 우주의 어느 작은 행성에 2차원 종이 소년이 다람쥐와 함께 살고 있다.
소년은 차원의 한계에 갇혀, 자신이 살고 있는 세계를 무한하다고만 생각하고 우주의 모습을 상상할 수 없어 답답해한다.
그러던 어느 날, 우주 한 편에 이상한 매듭이 솟아나며, 소년은 자신을 둘러싼 고차원 우주 속으로 신비한 모험을 떠난다.
Synopsis
A curious paper-boy and a bouncy chipmunk live in a small planet on the fantastic fabric cosmos. The boy asks again and again about the shape of cosmos but there is nobody to answer his question. One day, a strange ribbon occurs near the planet and the boy and the chipmunk fall into mysterious adventure in the fabric cosmos.
연출의도
분명 눈앞에 있지만 볼 수 없는 것들이 세상에는 많습니다.
자기만의 한계에 갇혀 세상을 바라볼 때는 전혀 풀릴 것 같지 않은 문제들도, 다른 차원의 시선으로 보면 풀릴 때가 있습니다.
눈앞의 현실만 쳐다보기에 바빠 종이 인형처럼 점점 납작해져 가던 어느 날,
푸른 하늘 너머, 눈에 보이지 않는 무한한 우주의 모습을 상상하던 어린 시절을 떠올리며 이 작품을 만들게 되었습니다.
Director's Note
There are many things in front our eyes but we can’t see. I think if we take interest and try to see those invisible things we may get into different dimension. When I realized myself changed like a paper-doll to see just one dimension, I started this animation with recollecting my childhood full of dream of infinite cosmos.
